Visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to Canada will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travellers with a valid visa.

Located at the convergence of highways 401, 402 and 403, London is approximately a two hour drive from either Toronto or Detroit; you will have to go through customs and immigration if you drive from Detroit or any other location in the United States. Free parking will be available on campus at the Huron Flats lot for all conference participants.
By Air
London International Airport has two scheduled airline carriers: Air Canada and Westjet. Air Canada has direct flights to London from Toronto and Ottawa; Westjet has direct flights from Toronto, Winnipeg and Calgary.
If you prefer to fly to either Pearson International Airport in Toronto or the Detroit Metro Airport, Robert Q Airbus provides surface transportation from both airports to their terminal in London but can arrange for you to be driven to where you will be staying.
Rental cars are available at all airports as well as from a number of locations in London.
By Rail
The VIA Rail station is located in the downtown core.
By Bus
The Greyhound bus terminal is also located downtown.
Throughout the city, London Transit is convenient and provides direct transport between campus and downtown as well as to all the other areas of the city. Tourism London is providing each HRDP8 registrant with a free transit pass for the duration of the Workshop so that participants can travel to and from the Western campus with ease and can explore the various cultural and recreational activities that the city has to offer. There are bus stops next to London Hall or directly across the street, depending on the direction, as well as directly across the street from the Physics and Astronomy Building.
